National Cherry Festival

Cherry Pie A La Mode
While walking around Traverse City and after doing some shopping, my family and I noticed that we just so happed to be in town for the National Cherry Festival and decided to stop and get some cherry pie a la mode!

There were so many little booths, like Edmondson’s Washed Sweet Cherries! The ladies there were super sweet, just like it says.

My Personal Opinion…

My opinion is just that: an opinion. After sharing the pie with my family, I decided that it was good! Definitely worth a try. The crust was crunchy and thick and the cherries were sweet, but the ice cream definitely took it up a notch. The cold ice cream with the warm pie made it taste wonderful!

HOW MANY SCOOPS???

After further consideration, I’ve decided to give this cherry pie a la mode THREE SCOOPS! It was good, yes, but I definitely enjoyed it more with the ice cream.

THAT FRENCH PLACE

Banana & Nutella Crepe (ft. my older sister)

My Personal Opinion

“That French Place” is a very well known and popular spot around Charlevoix, meaning that their food must be good! They had many sweet and savory crepe choices, but I decided to have the Banana & Nutella crepe. It was good, however, thinner than others that I have had before. They did not skimp on the filling though, which I loved.

HOW MANY SCOOPS???

I give this crepe THREE SCOOPS!

It was good! Definitely would like to go back and try a savory crepe next time.
